Search Engine Optimization - $25/HR
Having your web site searched by the major search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN can be a huge boost to your site's traffic. As part of your web site design fee we list your web site with the major search engines FREE of charge. However for some people just being listed isn't enough. If you would like to pay an additional fee we will use Pay-Per-Click services such as Google Adwords or Overture to get your site listed at the top of the search results. We can also optimize keywords, monitor site traffic, and other various research methods to improve your search engine ranking. Our programming add-on packages can consist of just about anything. Would you like to add those cool drop down menus to your web site, add an image area that changes each time a person visits your site, or a pop-up window that reminds customers of sales/notices/advertisements? Hopefully none of you reading this are saying "What is Flash?". You might not know what Flash is, but I guarantee if you've been on the internet for more than a week you've seen Flash. Flash usually consists of animated object, images, etc. Flash can also be a static presentation. Flash is a dynamic medium which can make videos, presentations, web sites, audio players, etc. Two years ago it was predicted that within the next 5 years or so that 97% of web sites would be Flash based. I'm not sure if those numbers are still being expected, but Flash as a medium has exploded all over the internet. Flash doesn't have to be a full-featured web site You can add a Flash based navigation system to your site, an animated banner, or a splash screen. These little additions can freshen up your web site and give it that "NEW" look you are striving for. A database is a collection of related information used by an organization (company, university, or hospital). Examples would be, inventory data, student data, patient data, etc. All of these would be good candidates for a database. A database basically stores the information in an organized fashion so that it is easily manipulated (searched, sorted, etc.). Another advantage of having your information in a database is that you can interface your database information with your web site so users can access live data via the web. This can prevent the need to train employees on database programs. You can simply add the database capabilities to your site and allow them to manipulate the database through a web browser without knowing any database programming. A database driven web site is extremely less expensive to maintain also. An extra investment up-front can return huge savings over time.
